Hello. We’re glad you’re here. But why are we here? That’s probably the key question. After all, we’ve been providing amazing professional images to businesses as DKClarke Photography for nearly 10 years. So why Melon Photo & Video? Let us explain…

For years now, we’ve been running two related but distinct pillars to our business. One pillar is our family and personal portrait business: creative and natural images for you to hand on your walls at home or save in an album. The other pillar is the corporate side: striking images to help market your products and services, ultimately to make the companies we work with more money. And although there is overlap in the skills (and sometimes the clients), it was becoming harder for our clients - and potential clients - to find out exactly what they needed on our website. Our family images are beautiful, but not so relevant to a company running a huge event. And a photograph of a cleaning product isn’t going to create a wow factor for a parent.

So something had to be done! And this is that something. It’s been in the works for a while. And now we’ve added video to our offering, it was the perfect time. And here we are…

Apart from a nice new brand, there are relatively few differences. The respective behind the scenes team members who worked on our family shoots and corporate shoots are still in their respective areas. But it’s clearer to our clients who does what. And both sides are gelled by our chief melon farmer, Dan.
